All Himalayan Salt originates from the Khewra Salt Mines in Pakistan, which is situated at the foothills of the Himalayan Mountain ranges. The vast Salt mines stretch out across approximately 299 kms from the Jhelum River to the Indus River. There are six primary mines with each mine producing its own unique, varied and distinct salts.

Studies prove that Himalayan salt lamps emit negative ions that can increase the flow of oxygen to your brain, making you calm, energetic and alert. These negative ions neutralize electromagnetic radiation (positive ions) from household electronics and even prevent the build-up of static electricity. By doing this…..the primary benefit of Himalayan salt lamps is that by countering the positive ions that can cause anxiety and depression, they help with stress.  Aesthetically pleasing to the eye with their warm soft pink glow they provide a beautiful ambiance in any room whilst they are working behind the scenes neutralising those positive ions from all our electrical items in our homes.

Not all salt lamp suppliers will have safety approval, as it is not thoroughly enforced by the above agencies, that's why it's best to check first.
